When the Devil was defeated, Eden was restored on earth and peace reigned.
Eden Lost is the second part of The Hunter Wars series and follows directly on from part one, Hunter Wars. It can be read as a standalone series and is an exciting, fast-paced, unique take on the end of the world and the way the universe really works. Dead Alive is book #2 in the Eden Lost series (which is a f/u to the Hunter War series)
Great series. Love the story and characters. I appreciate very much that we're steal dealing with most of the same characters as in the Hunter Wars series. Only about 5 years has passed since the 4 Horsemen had won the battle and gone to ground to rest. Now, they're back and so is the devil, Ruler. He's just being much more sly this time; he's flying under the radar, staying hidden. The Hunters that they thought were gone are back but they're different thanks to Luci and Ip. So it's a bad thing and a good thing, I guess. They're still dead but they're no longer a mindless, human eater. They are aware and in some cases, helpful. But Ruler has many tricks up his sleeves to win this war this time around.
Editing issues are the same as in Hidden Wars but especially as in this series previous book. ( lots of errors! I think around 50 errors. That's a lot! And it's a shame because they're small simple words, mostly missing, i.e., a, to, the, etc. Its too bad for the author and frustrating for the reader. ( the author either A) needs a different editor or B) he needs an editor, to begin with! This would have been a 5 star rating if not for the editing issues. That's unfortunate. (

As always, S.D. Tanner provides a great story line. Sucked me in and had me the whole time. Loved it.
